Every Filipino kid had a birthday party with that giant bee waiting at the door, doing the thumbs up like he personally vouched for you. We grew up on that mascot the same way we grew up on Henny and lumpia, so we gave him a glow up. Flat brim instead of the chef hat, shades instead of that wide-eyed grin, and something a lot stronger than a Peach Mango Pie in his hand. He's still smiling. He just doesn't need your approval anymore. Same guy who used to wave you in for spaghetti now waves you off when you ask if he remembers his old job. Unisex and true to size.
